8:30 – A number of civil liberties groups are pushing the federal government to allow them to call witnesses and compel sworn testimony during the inquiry into the Trudeau government’s invocation of the Emergencies Act. According to the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, an inquiry that doesn’t involve the major players testifying under oath would be meaningless. Tom Korski has been following the Emergencies Act for Blacklock’s Reporter in Ottawa, and he joins Gormley to tell us more.

Canada’s carbon tax is rising, but the shift towards green technology means mined will need to expand dramatically around the world in order to keep pace with the demand for batteries and other materials. 11:00 – Alison Berge trains service dogs for a living, but she says the requirements for licensing and regulating service dogs in Saskatchewan have a long way to come. Berge says she’d like to see stronger regulations put in place to prevent people from simply buying a service dog vest from Amazon and claiming their own pet is helping them navigate life as a service animal. Berge joins Gormley to explain some of the issues when it comes to service dogs, and what should be done to change things.
LIVE: Alison Berge (“Berg”), service dog trainer and instructor with Paws & Create.
