Five months after Frances Gazeley’s disappearance, the Saskatchewan RCMP is again asking people to search their properties for signs of the 77-year-old woman.
The last time anyone spoke to Gazeley was Dec. 7. Searches that occurred after she was reported missing didn’t find any trace of her.
On Friday, the RCMP issued a media release renewing its request that people in the Weyburn, Ceylon, Minton, Bengough and Colgate areas check their properties for signs of Gazeley.
“With spring weather forecasted and remaining snow melting, we encourage the public to check any fields and outbuildings on their property that are inaccessible during winter for signs of Frances and/or any clothing that wouldn’t normally be there,” the Mounties’ release said.
Gazeley was known to wear a purple or blue winter coat and short black boots.
Anyone with information about Gazeley is asked to call the Weyburn Police Service at 306-848-3250 or their nearest RCMP detachment.
