Two people have been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a 32-year-old man in La Ronge.
On Wednesday around 4 a.m., police got a call about shots fired outside a residence at Bells Point. At the scene, officers found an injured man, who later was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was identified as Eric Bouchard.
Kurt Ratt, 20, and 22-year-old River Miller, both from La Ronge, each was charged with first-degree murder and assault. They’re to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
One person who was arrested after the shooting was released without charges.
