Sarah Mills says parents are probably breathing a sigh of relief as kids head back to school after the Easter break.
A 24-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was badly hurt in Regina on May 23.
Tegan Laplante also was charged with aggravated assault, forcible confinement and kidnapping in connection with the incident.
According to police, officers were called to a house in the 1200 block of Garnet Street just before 2 a.m. They found an injured woman in the backyard of the residence and she was taken to hospital by paramedics.
Laplante appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Monday.
