A 41-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital Wednesday after he collided with a van at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Broad Street.
Just before 4:30 p.m., officers were sent to the intersection after reports of a crash. Their investigation determined a van was turning north onto Broad off of Fourth when it collided with a cyclist who was going south on the east-side sidewalk of Broad.
The driver of the van remained at the scene while the cyclist was taken to hospital.
