A 28-year-old man is still in hospital after a crash with a pickup truck Sunday evening that shut down Dewdney Avenue for several hours.
According to Regina police, the truck was heading west on Dewdney and the man on the bicycle was heading south on Garnet Street when the two crashed. The call came in to police just before 7:15 p.m.
The man who was on the bicycle was still lying in the road when emergency services arrived and he was taken to hospital – his injuries were described as serious. He was still in hospital as of Monday afternoon.
The truck had stopped nearby and the 31-year-old woman who’d been driving was interviewed by police as well as a number of witnesses.
As of Monday afternoon, there was no word on any possible charges in the crash.
