Council retroactively slashed $1.33 million in rent owed by the Roughriders.
A little-known unit of Regina Fire and Protective Services rescued a person from a train Thursday evening.
In a tweet, the fire department said its Technical Rescue team was called to get an injured person out of a railcar.
The team performed what the department called a “careful extrication” to remove the person, who was taken by paramedics to hospital.
There wasn’t any word on the person’s injuries or their condition.
