Four people were arrested and two firearms were seized after a home invasion in Yorkton.
According to the RCMP, police were called to a home early Sunday morning after a group forced their way inside. Four people were arrested at the scene, the RCMP said, and three of them gave false information to police.
A search warrant was executed at the same home later that day, the RCMP said, which saw police seize an illegally modified gun, a semi-automatic gun fitted with a silencer, a high-capacity magazine, and a small amount of white powder that was sent to a lab for identification.
The four people who were arrested all were charged with break and enter. Some of them are facing additional charges, which include possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and obstructing a peace officer.
