Regina Fire had to put out a blaze early Tuesday morning.
Around 5:05 a.m., Regina fire responded to a house fire on Princess Street.
Deputy chief Dustin McCullough said it only took crews about six minutes to get on scene for the fire.
The front of the house was charred and the siding on it was melted. The roof had also been destroyed by the flames.
He said it was fully involved — meaning fire was coming out of all exits.
“It took a while to extinguish the fire but the fire was contained and brought under control,” McCullough said.
Crews also had to deal with high winds as they battled the blaze.
“(Wind) can make it more challenging when you have a fully-involved house fire. In this situation, there was room between the structure involved and the neighbours so there was no extension to either property on either side of that house,” McCullough said.
In a tweet, Regina Fire said no injuries had been reported. McCullough said Regina Fire believes it was a vacant house but is still investigating to confirm that.
