The City of Regina is working to finalize its first two-year budget, and residents are invited to offer their thoughts.
According to the city, the consultation is “an opportunity to identify challenges and provide input on important considerations as we finalize the proposed 2023/24 Budget.”
Regina residents can also offer feedback on potential investments, and how they align with the city’s strategic priorities.
Feedback will be accepted until Nov. 4, and a summary will go to City Council to help with decision-making during budget deliberations in December.
About 1,600 people participated in the pre-budget survey in May, the city noted. According to the survey, residents’ top priorities include road construction and repair, public safety, crime and policing, and recreation, culture facilities and programs.
Feedback on the proposed budget can be submitted online.
