A 34-year-old man has been identified as Regina’s seventh murder victim of 2022.
Regina police say the family of Bryant Thayne Starr has been notified of his death, which the police have confirmed to be a homicide.
According to police, officers responded Oct. 12 at about 12:40 a.m., to the General Hospital for a call about an unknown man who had suffered wounds consistent with an assault.
“Police arrived to the hospital and located medical staff attending to the unconscious male, and began investigating the incident as an assault,” police said in a release.
The scope of that investigation changed Tuesday, when police were told Starr had died in hospital.
