12:00 – We meet Jason McNamee, co-founder, and Chief Product Officer at Lucent Bio. Lucent Bio delivers crop nutrition that improves yields and soil health while sequestering carbon. McNamee is currently attending the United Nations Climate Conference at the invite of the Saskatchewan government. Last Saturday, he was part of a panel discussion. His company Lucent has developed a cellulose-based crop nutrition product in partnership with AGT foods. They currently produce their product at a facility in Humboldt and are currently building a production facility in Rosetown. McNamee joins the show to tell us more about Lucent and his time at the United Nations Climate Conference.
