The City of Regina’s Jingle Bus is returning in advance of the holidays.
From Dec. 9 to Dec. 11, all fares collected on Regina Transit buses will be donated to a local non-profit organization. This year, that’s Growing Young Movers (G.Y.M.), an organization that enhances the social, emotional and physical well-being of children and youth.
“This is the seventh year for this promotion, providing residents with an opportunity to ride the bus for a cause,” Kim Onrait, the city’s executive director of citizen services, said in a media release.
“Every bus is a Jingle Bus. Riders can keep their R-cards in their pocket and donate whatever coins they can to the farebox and enjoy the ride.”
Rawlco Radio is among the program’s sponsors.
