The local play-in games are set for the 53rd Bedford Road Invitational Tournament (BRIT).
The past two versions of the high school basketball tournament were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Three teams from Saskatoon high schools will earn a spot through the play-in games set to go Wednesday night at Bedford Road.
Admission for the play-in games will be a cash donation that will support The Salvation Army.
Bedford Road gets an automatic berth into the tournament as host and the remaining eight teams will be from B.C., Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
The full list of participating teams will be released after the play-in games are complete.
BRIT is set to take place from Jan 12-14.
