People who park on Regina’s snow routes will have to find another place to park starting Friday morning.
The City of Regina has declared snow routes are in effect, meaning there’s no on-street parking on those roads from Friday at 6 a.m. to Saturday at 6 a.m.
“This parking ban allows crews to plow the roads from curb to curb, improving traffic flow along the busy roadways,” the city said in a release Thursday. “As well, it will help ensure roads are passable for emergency response vehicles.”
The routes can be identified by blue signs with a white snowflake. Vehicles parked on snow routes during the temporary ban will be ticketed.
A map of the snow routes can be found here.
