Investigators have found that a fire at a Sasaktoon apartment building was set on purpose.
Firefighters were called to the building at 2010 22nd Street West shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday.
They arrived to find the building’s hallways filled with smoke.
Several people had already gotten out of the building, fire crews did a search to make sure no one was left behind.
From there, firefighters put out a blaze found in one of the building’s stairwells.
People were kept from returning to their homes until the smoke cleared.
No one was injured in the fire. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
