Sarah Mills says parents are probably breathing a sigh of relief as kids head back to school after the Easter break.
Highway 21 is blocked south of Kerrobert after a collision.
According to the RCMP, the highway is completely blocked and motorists can expect delays. The police did not say if anyone was hurt in the crash, or how many vehicles were involved.
Meanwhile, the RCMP in Indian Head have warned the public about “extremely icy road conditions” on the Trans-Canada Highway, particularly in the area around Wolseley.
“The public is advised not to travel in the area until road conditions improve,” the RCMP said in a statement. “Several collisions have been reported.”
Drivers were advised to monitor the Highway Hotline for the latest information on road conditions.
