The $1.33M rent reduction comes from what the club owed during seasons impacted by the pandemic.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added a former NFL defensive back to their roster.
The CFL team announced Friday it had signed 27-year-old Rashard Robinson, who played five seasons in the NFL.
The 6-foot-2, 177-pounder was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round (133rd overall) of the 2016 NFL draft out of LSU. In 14 games as an NFL rookie, Robinson had 28 tackles and one interception for the 49ers.
His NFL career also included stops with the New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 49 career regular-season games, Robinson recorded 89 tackles, 15 passes defended, two interceptions, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
