8:30 – Bill C-234 an Act to amend the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act has passed the House of Commons and is now with the Senate. The Bill exempts on-farm fuels like propane and natural gas, used for grain drying and barn heating, from the federal carbon tax. 11:00 – The merger between Rogers and Shaw has been approved and claims it could lower wireless prices for Canadians. The deal itself is valued at $26 billion but a number of people are not happy with the deal.
