A man and woman from Regina are facing charges of assault with a weapon and forcible confinement after a police operation Friday.
Police said the operation in the 1200 block of Retallack Street started with a firearms complaint, and ended with two people arrested.
While few details of the operation were shared, police said a 36-year-old man was charged with forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, discharging a firearm in a reckless manner, uttering death threats, possession of a controlled substance and other gun-related charges.
A 33-year-old woman was also charged, police said. She’s facing one count of assault with a weapon and one count of forcible confinement.
Both were set to make their first court appearances Monday, police added.
