Two men have been charged with breaking into vehicles near the Pasqua Hospital on the weekend.
Regina police said the first incident occurred Saturday just before 11 p.m., when hospital security called police after seeing a man breaking a vehicle window. According to police, the security officers chased the suspect on foot and held him until police arrived.
The second break-in happened Monday at about 2:30 a.m., police said. On that occasion, hospital security came upon a man inside a vehicle that had one of its windows smashed out. Again, the security officers held the suspect until police arrived.
A 42-year-old man was charged with mischief under $5,000, and a 38-year-old man was charged with mischief under $5,000 and possession of break-in instruments. They’re to make their first court appearances on June 6.
