It’s what avid golfers have been waiting for: The return of golf to the Queen City.
The City of Regina said in a news release Thursday that driving ranges at the Tor Hill, Murray and Joanne Goulet golf courses will open on Saturday.
It also said the city’s four municipal golf courses are scheduled for a staggered opening in May.
The Murray and 18 holes at the Tor Hill will be open on May 5.
The Joanne Goulet, Lakeview Par 3 and the other nine holes at the Tor Hill are scheduled to open on May 8, weather permitting.
The city also said residents can start booking tee times online starting Sunday at 7 p.m., adding they may be booked up to five days in advance.
However, it added all bookings are subject to weather conditions, including frost.
Tee times for the Lakeview Par 3 can only be booked in person or by calling 306-777-7370.
