Almost the entire eastern half of Regina was plunged into darkness Thursday morning.
SaskPower’s outage map said the northeast, Eastview, downtown, North Central, Al Ritchie, Broders Annex, Gladmer Park, Assiniboia East, Douglas Park, Glen Elm, Glencairn, and Industrial areas were all impacted by the outage.
Traffic lights were inoperative on a number of Regina’s main roads during the outage, slowing traffic and creating four-way stops.
The power was restored just after 9 a.m.
