10:00 – Canada has the highest level of household debt among G7 countries. Most of that debt is in mortgages but has not been struck by the increasing interest rates. Dr. Jason Childs, Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Regina, has been looking into this and joins Gormley to discuss what will happen if the household debt becomes too much for Canadians.

11:00 – Regarding concussions, it has not been easy to diagnose them in the clinical setting correctly. A Canadian researcher hopes to help develop a diagnostic standard to diagnose them properly. Noah Silverberg is an Associate psychology professor at the University of British Columbia and co-author of the paper “Management of Concussion and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury: A Synthesis of Practice Guidelines.” He joins Gormley to explain how changing the diagnoses’ focus will help treat concussions.
