AJ Jacubec said roster, coaching and penalties held Canada back at the World Juniors.
A game-winning three-pointer by Justin Wright-Foreman helped the Saskatchewan Rattlers pull off a 99-96 upset of the Winnipeg Sea Bears on Tuesday.
Wright-Foreman finished with a team-high 26 points to keep the 5-9 Rattlers in playoff contention in the Canadian Elite Basketball League, and prevent the Sea Bears from clinching a playoff position on home court.
With the win, Saskatchewan moved to within a half-game of Vancouver for fourth place in the CEBL’s Western Conference. The Rattlers will look to build on their win streak on Thursday with a date against the Stingers in Edmonton.
