'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
The deaths of a couple found in a Broadview home last week have been ruled a murder-suicide by police.
In a media release Monday, the RCMP said the investigation by Major Crimes had determined a 52-year-old man had killed a 54-year-old woman before taking his own life. The Mounties’ release said the incident last Wednesday “was domestic in nature.”
Police said they’re not looking for suspects and charges won’t be laid.
The Mounties didn’t say how the people died or what their relationship was to each other. The couple’s names weren’t released.
Broadview is located about 150 kilometres east of Regina on the Trans-Canada Highway.
