A 21-year-old man faces several charges, including arson, after a porta potty caught fire in Victoria Park on Monday.
Regina police charged and arrested a man on Monday for setting fire to a porta potty unit in Victoria Park.
Police responded to the arson call and found a man who matched the witness description alone in an alley north of Victoria Avenue between Scarth Street and Hamilton Street.
A search of the suspect revealed bear spray, a machete, and items used for starting fires.
During his arrest, a nearby garbage can caught fire, landing him a second arson charge.
The 21-year-old faces two counts of arson, concealing a weapon, and mischief related to graffiti.
