Sarah Mills says parents are probably breathing a sigh of relief as kids head back to school after the Easter break.
Students at a Saskatoon high school had to walk by police vehicles on their way to class Thursday morning.
Police were called at 7:30 a.m. about a deceased person in a parking lot near Bedford Road Collegiate.
Police have not released the gender or age of the victim, but say the death is not believed to be suspicious.
A spokesperson with Saskatoon Public Schools told 650 CKOM the deceased person is not a member of the school community.
Classes at the school continue as normal. Police said there is no risk to students or staff.
A member of the coroner is investigating the death.
