A benefit concert for the children of Heidi Veit is set for Saturday at O’Brians Event Centre in Saskatoon.
Veit’s body was discovered about five kilometres northeast of Wilkie on March 28, her estranged husband Wesley John Veit is charged with second-degree murder in connection.
Money raised at Saturday’s benefit goes to Veit’s two sons- Cole and Zachary.
O’Brians will also make a donation to a local women’s shelter.
Musical acts High Love and Firing at the Sky will perform at the benefit that’s scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
Veit worked at Living Sky School Division in Wilkie as an educational assistant.
