Two men are dead after two pickup trucks collided Saturday near Corinne.
According to the RCMP, officers from the Milestone detachment got a call about the collision on Highway 39 at around noon. Members of the Milestone Fire Department and local EMS joined the Mounties in responding.
The RCMP said in a release Monday that the drivers of the pickups were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The driver and lone occupant of one of the trucks has been identified as a 50-year-old man from Estevan. Police didn’t release his name, but said his family had been notified.
The driver of the other truck was a 76-year-old man from Midale; his family also has been notified of his death. The RCMP didn’t release that man’s name.
A woman who was a passenger in the second truck was taken to hospital with injuries the police said were serious.
The Milestone RCMP and a Saskatchewan collision reconstructionist are investigating the collision.
