Two Edmonton men have been charged with sexually assaulting a pair of girls in Meadow Lake.
According to the RCMP, officers were called to an address on Ninth Street West in the early-morning hours on Tuesday.
“Investigation determined two female youths were sexually assaulted,” the Mounties said in a statement. “Two males were arrested by Meadow Lake RCMP at the scene.”
Police said 35-year-old Gagandeep Singh Gill and 31-year-old Balraj Sidhu – both residents of Edmonton – were each charged with sexual assault. Gill was further charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.

Both men are scheduled to appear in a Meadow Lake courtroom on Thursday.
“Thorough and sensitive investigation into reports of sexual-based offences is an utmost priority for the Saskatchewan RCMP,” the Mounties added.
“As part of this investigation – and any other investigation into reports of sexual assaults against children or other vulnerable populations – Saskatchewan RCMP will work to determine if there are additional victims. If this is determined, we will notify the public.”
