AJ Jacubec said roster, coaching and penalties held Canada back at the World Juniors.
Pop star Ariana Grande made an emotional return to Manchester over the weekend.
Grande’s May 22 show was the scene of a suicide bombing that killed 22 people and injured dozens more.
On Sunday, Grande played a show benefitting victims and their families.
She was joined by several other high-profile performers, including Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams.
British and Manchester-based musicans were well represented on the bill, including a performance by 90’s era boy band Take That, who were joined on stage by former member Robbie Williams before he played material from his solo career.
BBC Music has put video of performances from the show on its YouTube page.
