Until those stalled negotiations between the provincial government and the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation resume, school divisions are attempting to navigate questions from parents and frustrated students. Dr. Jeffrey Wilkinson‘s clinic was the first to do this since 1962 and many have expressed skepticism about this business model. Dr. Wilkinson joins Evan to give an update on how his clinic is faring after making this decision in Saskatchewan.
10:00 – Inflation has been hurting everyone’s wallets at the grocery store check out and when they get their restaurant tab at the end of the night. But research from food expert and professor, Sylvain Charlebois, is saying food sales are also showing that Canada is getting poorer — at an alarming rate. He joins Evan to discuss this research, and touch on how Ozempic is harming the junk food industry.
10:30 – The Canadian Agri-Food Automation and Intelligence Network Ltd. is a not-for-profit company that’s funding a lot of Saskatchewan work. Evan is joined by CAAIN CEO, Darrell Petras, to walk through some of those projects being funded to the tune of $18.3 million — about a third of which comes from CAAIN.
