The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a natural gas leak on Tuesday.
Firefighters were called out around 11:45 a.m. to 526 Underhill Link, in the city’s Brighton neighbourhood.
They arrived to find that an augur truck had hit an underground gas line.
Crews evacuated six people from four nearby homes and set up a perimeter until workers from SaskEnergy arrived to fix the line.
No injuries were reported.
