The RCMP is investigating after a 36-year-old man died Tuesday at the Regina Correctional Centre.
In a media release, the Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety said the man was found unresponsive on a living unit at the jail at around 9:20 a.m.
“Corrections staff initiated life-saving measures and called EMS,” the release said. “EMS attended and he was declared deceased at approximately 10 a.m.”
Foul play isn’t suspected, the ministry said.
