About half an hour later, the Rosthern RCMP got a call about a collision at the intersection of highways 312 and 11 involving a grey truck and the black truck from the earlier call.
The Mounties said the passenger and driver of the grey truck were taken to hospital, but the release didn’t elaborate on the extent of their injuries.
The driver of the black truck was taken to hospital with injuries police described as serious. The 36-year-old man remains in hospital, but police didn’t release details about his injuries.
