10:00 – The Round Table of Justice – Each and every Monday we invite experts in the law to pull up a seat and discuss the week’s biggest crime and justice stories. In today’s Round Table of Justice Evan is joined by Scott Kienlen and Jeryn Peters with the Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) to discuss border security.
11:00 – Artificial intelligence is creeping into every aspect of daily life, from social media to academics and beyond. Now, the Law Society of Saskatchewan has developed AI guidelines to direct how this technology can interact with the legal considerations in the province. Craig Zawada, Kings Council and past president of the Law Society of Saskatchewan, joins Evan to explain these guidelines.
11:30 – Demand for veterinarians in the province has been increasing and the province is investing in veterinarian training to try and meet the demand. Dr. Gary Hoium is a retired Saskatchewan vet who has written a few books about his work life. He joins Evan to share the demand he’s seen in his field and some of his experiences.
12:00 – As National Poetry Month wraps up, Evan is joined by a Regina poetry and creative non-fiction writer. Professor Michael Trussler, who teaches at the University of Regina, is a three-time winner of the Saskatchewan Book Award. He joins Evan a day before the release of his new collection, Realia.
