Police say a five-year-old child was struck and injured by a vehicle while crossing a road in Regina on Wednesday.
According to police, the child was taken to hospital with injuries that didn’t appear life-threatening. The driver remained at the scene after the collision, which happened on Davin Crescent at around 3:45 p.m.

“This incident remains under investigation. It has not yet been determined what charges, if any, will result pending the outcome of this investigation,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
