Josephine Puerto, Executive Chef at Wascana Country Club in Regina, Saskatchewan, has been passionate about food since she was young. She found her inspiration when she was 17 years old and attempted to cook a local dish which her grandmother used to make for her.

Since then, she found herself working in the kitchen, which led to experiences in different bistros, hotels, and restaurants. It sharpened her cooking skills and made her pursue culinary arts. Every step of the way she found experiences which shaped her, not only to be a great chef, but also a leader.

Over the years, she has been very dedicated to her work and always amazes everyone with her dishes. She makes sure that every dish is made with passion and creativity.
