A third woman is facing a murder charge in connection with the death of 42-year-old Christopher Joseyounen on the Hatchet Lake First Nation.
The Mounties said officers were called to the First Nation in northern Saskatchewan on Saturday evening after a report came in saying a man had been seriously injured at a local home.
“Investigation has determined that an altercation occurred between a group of individuals. As a result of the altercation, an adult male was seriously injured and was later declared deceased at the clinic,” the RCMP said in a statement.
One woman was arrested at the scene, the RCMP said, and a second woman was arrested on Sunday.

Tricia St. Pierre, a 36-year-old woman from Hatchet Lake, and Tinnisha Josie, an 18-year-old from Wollaston Lake, are both facing charges of second-degree murder.
On Thursday, police announced that a third woman – 37-year-old Jean St. Pierre, of Wollaston Lake – was arrested and charged with a second-degree murder. She appeared in provincial court on Thursday.
