10:45 – Astrophysicist and science communicator Ethan Siegel has been chosen to author the first official National Geographic/JWST book, Infinite Cosmos. The book is set to be released on October 8th this year. He joins Brent Loucks to discuss the project.
11:00 – Saskatchewan diver, Rylan Wiens, is set to compete in the coming weeks at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. His parents, Angela and Norm Wiens, are heading to Paris along with other family members to watch his performance. Angela joins Evan on the show while on the road to talk about their imminent trip.
11:30 – Last month, the release of a documentary about Celine Dion revealed the singer’s ongoing battle with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder causing pain and muscle spasms with no known cure. Dr. Tara Zier, founder and CEO of The Stiff Person Research Foundation, joins Brent Loucks to talk about the disease and her own journey with it.
