In a statement Tuesday afternoon, the City of Regina confirmed the new parts for the lap pool had been received, and were being installed.
The city said it will “take approximately 24 hours to ensure that the pool’s filtration and chemistry return to operating levels.”
For lane swimmers, Regent Pool will be open today from 7 a.m to 12 p.m.
The newly-renovated Wascana Pool opened to swimmers last year, but it has seen various closures over the past several days due to unforeseen mechanical issues.
The venue is still open for those using the leisure pool and the waterslide, both of which reopened on Sunday.
