Three Taylor Swift concerts in Vienna have been cancelled after the arrest of two men suspected to have been plotting a terrorist attack, according to authorities.
On Wednesday, organizers Barracuda Music announced the Eras Tour Vienna shows had been cancelled due to “confirmation” from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium.
“We have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety,” Barracuda wrote on Instagram.
“All tickets will be automatically refunded within the next 10 business days.”
Swift was initially scheduled to perform on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as part of her Eras Tour.
One suspect was arrested in Ternitz which is south of Vienna and the other was arrested in Vienna.
Austrian officials claimed the 19-year-old suspect pledged an oath of allegiance to ISIS.
Z99 and other Rawlco stations have been engaged in a campaign to get Swift to return to Saskatchewan for a performance.
