This includes Regina’s next Mayor, 10 City Councillors and School Board Trustees for the next four years.
When is the civic election?
Who can register:
According to Elections Regina, you can register to vote in the civic election if you meet the criteria on election day, Nov 13, 2024.
- You are a Canadian citizen and at least 18 years of age.
- You have resided in the province for at least six consecutive months.
- You are a resident of Regina or have owned assessable land within Regina for at least three consecutive months before the election date.
Digital Voter Information Card
Voters will now be provided with digital Voter Information Cards. This means they will be emailed to those registered and people can expect them by mid-late October. People do not need a digital card in order to vote, election officials can look people up on-site. Paper cards will still be available for those wanting one, email elections@regina.ca or call 306-751-4479.

According to the city, the 10 wards have slightly changed for the 2024 civic election.

How can I vote?

Elections Regina has a form for people to change their information.
Elections Regina said it has “entered into a data-sharing agreement with Elections Saskatchewan and will be using a registered voters list” for the first time.
