Two people are facing murder charges in connection with Regina’s second homicide case of 2024.
According to police, officers were called to the 2300 block of Reynolds Street in the city’s Al Ritchie neighbourhood early on the morning of June 1. At the scene, officers found 19-year-old Jason Martin, who was injured. He was taken to hospital by paramedics where he was later pronounced dead.

“The Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, determined the death to be a homicide, Regina’s second of 2024,” the Regina Police Service explained in a statement.
“Investigation led to two males, ages 29 and 23, who were arrested on Thursday, November 14, 2024 and subsequently charged with the offence.”
The two men, 29-year-old Tyler Blue Worme and 23-year-old Talon Lee Worme, both residents of Regina, are each facing a charge of second-degree murder, and both made their first court appearances on Friday morning.
