An investigation is underway at Mosaic’s Colonsay facility after part of its roof collapsed.
“Earlier this week, the roof of a structure that houses a part of our potash manufacturing process failed at Mosaic’s Colonsay facility,” the company said in a statement.

Mosaic said nobody was hurt, and there were no safety incidents related to the collapse.
“It is considered a low traffic area,” the company’s statement read. “A safe zone has been established, and no personnel are permitted in the area.”
The company said it is still working to figure out what happened and noted safety is always the top priority.
Mosaic’s Colonsay facility is located about 75 kilometres east of Saskatoon.
