A sighting of a suspicious vehicle parked on a grid road near Keeseekooose First Nation last week, led to a discovery of cocaine, methamphetamine, as well as a loaded gun.
Kamsack RCMP said in a news release that around 5:35 p.m. on Jan. 15, officers responded to a report of the suspicious vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

They recognized the man who was driving, police said, as being wanted on an outstanding warrant from Brandon Police Service, and arrested him.
Officers also saw open alcohol inside the vehicle, and then found about 28 grams of cocaine, about 23 grams of methamphetamine, a loaded shotgun, a knife, and a sum of cash in it.
A 27-year-old man from Keeseekoose First Nation is facing charges which include possession of cocaine and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking in property obtained by crime, driving while impaired, as well as numerous firearms charges and two counts of weapons possession contrary to a court order.
He made his first appearance in Yorkton Provincial Court on Jan. 16.
