It was a busy Thursday morning for firefighters in Regina, who responded to two early morning fires.
The first fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. at the Coachman Motor Inn on Victoria Avenue.

Regina Fire & Protective Services told 980 CJME it had “no comment” on any injuries resulting from the early morning blaze.
The fire department said firefighters was able to contain the fire to one suite, with no apparent damage to the rest of the outside of the Coachman Motor Inn.
Only one room at the back of the motel appeared to have damage on Thursday morning, with wooden boards covering the door and window of the bottom-floor unit. The surrounding walls were charred from the fire and smoke, and red warning notices were posted outside of the unit.
No injuries reported after Ottawa Street house fire
Nobody was hurt after the second fire of the morning, which broke out at a home near Regina General Hospital.
Crews were on scene for several hours after responding to the blaze at the home on Ottawa Street around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Thick smoke was seen billowing out of an upstairs window, and there appeared to be charring inside and outside around the window near the roof.
The house had graffiti on the rear main-floor windows, and the windows at the front of the house were boarded up.
