Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is now investigating an altercation in Marshall, Sask., that ended with one man dead.
Maidstone RCMP responded to the incident on April 24, around 4:30 a.m., where injuries were reported.
An altercation between two men happened outside a residence on 2nd Avenue in Marshall, Sask., 20 km southeast of Lloydminster.

One of the men called for medical assistance, police and local EMS responded.
One of the men was declared dead by EMS while en route to the hospital. His family has been notified.
The second man was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.
The investigation is in preliminary stages, but an adult man has been arrested. No charges have been laid at this time.
RCMP are asking anyone who lives in Marschall to check their home security cameras and doorbell cameras for information or suspicious activity between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on April 24.
