After an investigation into Regina’s third homicide of 2025, a 33-year-old man has been charged.
On April 24, at around 5:30 a.m., RPS and EMS were sent out to a call for service in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue.
Police found an injured man, who was declared dead a short time later.

Officers secured the scene, closing off three blocks of Victoria Avenue during the morning rush hours.
The Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit and the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit, along with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, began an investigation.
The death was later ruled a homicide.
Following further investigation, Regina Police have charged 33-year-old Keli Stonechild with first degree murder.
The man will make his first court appearance on Monday.
The victim’s name will not be released at the request of the family.
